Is the regulatory certificate still valid if traditional light bulbs are replaced with LED bulbs?

The certification of car lights under ECE or DOT regulations is based on the specific light specifications submitted for testing at that time. Each ECE and DOT certificate clearly specifies the type and specifications of the light source used in the cart lights; the certification-related markings on the light also include the light source and regulation code. If the original traditional bulbs are replaced with LED bulbs, the car lights are no longer the same as those certified, thus the regulatory certificate naturally becomes invalid.
